CRY America has tirelessly championed happier childhoods for underprivileged children in India for 20 years.
With YOUR support – our donors, volunteers and project partners, we’ve transformed the lives of 796,000 children living across 5,027 villages and slums. Over the next 5 years, our goal is to reach over One million children in our project areas and expand into new communities.

All children deserve a chance to grow up in a safe and secure environment that helps them learn. However, over 33 million children in India between the ages of 5 and 18 years work as child laborers at tea stalls, factories, construction sites and as domestic help.

What Our Girls Want
Girls from underprivileged sections of society face numerous challenges when it comes to talking about what they really want! Obstacles like lack of easy access to school, poor infrastructure, less or no involvement of parents and early marriage makes staying in school and completing an education a far-fetched dream for many.
By contributing to CRY America you stand by these girls, support their voice, help them beat the odds and encourage them to continue on their journey to success.

The pandemic took a particularly cruel toll among underprivileged communities in India. Our project workers risked their lives to undertake community awareness programs on COVID protocols while the CRY America’s donors maintained their funding support unabated throughout the crisis.
