Campaign Story
About the project
The percentage of cases of child sexual exploitation in India is higher than in many other countries. The project works in Kolkata, West Bengal, to strengthen prevention and response to child sexual abuse and incest.
This Project is fully funded by the Oak foundation.
Making a difference
CRY America’s Project RAHI aims to create an environment where child sexual abuse (CSA) and incest are prevented and responded to through appropriate policies and practices. The project also provides leadership on the issues, furnishes access to opportunities for self-healing and recovery for adult survivors, and expands engagements with mental health professionals, students, parents, governments, survivors and media.
