May 1, 2010: Boston: 'My Vision and Dream for Children' Campaign has been launched for the 2nd consecutive year by CRY- Child Rights and You America Inc. (CRY America), a 501c3 non-profit organization that works towards ensuring the basic rights of underprivileged children.

Says Shefali Sunderlal, President, CRY America, "Illiteracy, child labor, malnutrition, and preventable diseases are injustices faced by millions of children on a daily basis. But not for long we hope. Because no matter how long or difficult the journey - if each one of us believes in doing what's right, then all children will have their right to live, learn, grow and play! We are grateful to Zee TV for being our media sponsor for this campaign."

The website specially created for this campaign CRY America/myvisionforchildren">www.visit CRY America/myvisionforchildren invites participants to express their dream for children in 6 creative ways in an attempt to garner interest and motivate people to think and act for children's rights. They are:

- Essays
- Poems
- Slogans/Statements
- Paintings/Drawings
- Photographs/Photo-Essays
- Short Films

There are 3 age groups: juniors, teens and adults - to encourage participation from a wide audience. Entries can be uploaded CRY America/myvisionforchildren/site/register">online at CRY America/myvisionforchildren">www.visit CRY America/myvisionforchildren. To add to the excitement, on-ground contests are also being planned through local events organized by our CRY America/myvisionforchildren/site/acevents">volunteer chapters across cities in the US.

Last year the Campaign culminated in 'Let's dream a little dream together' booklet showcasing winners across the various categories. Releasing the booklet, acclaimed actor Shabana Azmi shared her belief that each one of us can and should make a difference by joining with CRY America to build a world where every child can expect justice, and enjoy a happy and healthy childhood.

The campaign will run till October, 2010. Winning entries will be announced on the website and receive special Certificates in November 2010.
