CRY America works towards restoring to underprivileged children, especially Indian, their basic rights to survival, protection, development and participation. We believe that each of us as individuals can make a difference. All it takes is the belief that "Change is possible, because I'll make it possible". CRY America's strength lies in its supporters – our volunteers, donors, media and project partners who have come together to change the situation of underprivileged children.

Volunteers form the core of CRY America. They come from different walks of life – university students, professionals, housewives, people working in various companies. Volunteers work among their colleagues, friends, family and local communities to create awareness about the situation of underprivileged children and harness resources through organizing of events. Our Chapter has been started by High School Students and we invite you to join our Student Chapter and support our events!

"I have always wanted to do something for the underprivileged children in countries such as India. I always saw my parents donating back home and I could not wait to combine my interests: planning/executing and aiding children so they can lead themselves to a bright future. After my first volunteer event, a movie night with friends, I am more excited to do bigger events. Volunteering has always been my passion, but with every event I did/will do, I will gain the satisfaction that more children in India will be supported through the efforts of CRY America. I am glad I am now a part of this noble organization."
